We are delighted to welcome Pastor Jim Johnson as our new pastor at Redeemer. Pastor Johnson began his ministry here in September 2025, bringing with him decades of faithful service in congregations in Fergus Falls, Minnesota; Anoka, Minnesota; and Reva, South Dakota. A native of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Pastor Johnson grew up about forty miles east of Marquette. He and his wife Marsha have been married for forty five years and are blessed with two children--Josh (Katie) Johnson and Mari (Kyle) Ameson--and four grandchildren. Both Pastor and Marsha are graduates of the Free Lutheran Bible College, and Pastor Jim earned his seminary degree from the Free Lutheran Seminary in 1985. We are grateful for his experience, warmth, and dedication as he begins his ministry among us.
